Large and comfortable rooms with nice appointments. Flat screen TV was nice as was the wet bar and desk.

This hotel is geared toward the business traveler. The rooms were small, but the bathroom (especially the shower) was smaller than those in the smaller cabins on cruise ships. Overall, the hotel was a lot more than I expected. I came in and said "Wow, I paid for this?" As a college student and a part-time employee, I am always in the lookout for the greatest bargains. The price and everything would be worth it, had I not woken up with bug bites! It has been almost a week since I left the hotel, and the bites still are itching. (It's embarrassing when I am scratching my neck in class!) Also, though it is a non-smoking hotel, for some reason my bathroom smelled like a chain smoker was hidden in there. I was on the fifth floor, so I doubt it could have been from outside. Had it not been for the bug bites and the smoke smell, everything else was near perfect and comfortable, especially for the price. We were pleased.

Hyatt Hotels have taken over the old Amerisuites and turned them into stylish and practical hotels for the business traveler. Great TV, great bed, great sofa. The free breakfast is more than adequate but a nice hot breakfast can be purchased if desired. My only complaint is that the air conditioner is in the window providing little control of temperature. Very pleased with this hotel - all the amenities of the upscale hotels, but not the nickel-and-diming they usually do!
